Lola Borg
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Lola Borg
I’m an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist with practices in Hackney and Marylebone. I work with people of all ages and from a wide range of social, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds and welcome those new to therapy.
I offer weekly sessions in person or via Zoom, either short-term or long-term.
People come to therapy for many different reasons—sometimes for a pressing issue such as depression, anxiety, relationship or family difficulties, grief, loss, or addiction. Other times, it could be a more vague but persistent sense that life isn’t being lived or enjoyed as it should. Therapy can be a chance to unravel these feelings.
I often work with people navigating difficult life stages or transitions—such as leaving education, raising young children, facing being single or child-free, relationship breakdown or divorce, menopause, retirement, aging.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in the arts and media. Many clients—whatever their day job—want to explore and expand their creative lives.
My approach is flexible and warm but tied into psychodynamic principles, so paying attention to the emotional patterns and relationship dynamics that have shape a life, including how past experiences may be affecting the present. The idea is to bring clarity and lasting change.
If you’d like to explore whether therapy could be helpful, please get in touch.
