Rob Stuart

I'm Rob Stuart, a Psychodynamic Counsellor based in Walthamstow Village, East London. I offer once-weekly, face-to-face therapy on an open-ended basis.

I specialise in anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, volatile emotions, suicidal thoughts and feelings as well as existential angst, i.e. legitimate concerns about the state of the world.

I graduated with an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck College, University of London in 2014. I also have a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the Open University and a BA in Philosophy and Politics from the University of East Anglia.

I worked as an Honorary Psychotherapist in the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Psychotherapy Team at CNWL NHS Foundation Trust between 2012 - 2016. I have also been employed in a variety of other mental health roles and settings in the public, private and third sectors.

I'm a professional member of the British Psychoanalytic Council, a Professional Standards Authority accredited register, and hold public liability insurance up to £10,000,000. I’m also a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Prices can be negotiated for students and those on limited means.
