Jo Taylor

I am an adult Jungian analyst and a child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapist. My core training is as a child and adolescent psychiatrist and for the past 15 years I have solely practiced as a psychotherapist/analyst. I am a member of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists, as well as the Severnside Institute of Psychotherapy. My Jungian analytic qualification is with the Australian and New Zealand Society of Jungian Analysts (ANZSJA), which gives me membership of the International Association of Analytical Psychologists (IAAP).

I work with people across the age range. I have experience in working psychotherapeutically with a wide range of mental illness including depression, anxiety, psychosis and OCD. I work with trauma, life transitions and difficulties associated with autistic spectrum disorders. I offer primarily longer term work, but do provide shorter term work where appropriate. I work with dreams and other non-verbal material, and adapt the frequency of meetings to patient need. I co-facilitate a regular dream group and offer professional supervision and teaching. I am a Training Analyst with ANZSJA.
