Alexander Ross
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Alexander Ross
You may be unsure why you're feeling worried, depressed or struggling at work or with relationships. Psychotherapy can help you to understand where your difficulties might be coming from leading to a less stress filled life.
This type of work can be especially helpful for more long term difficulties that might have their beginnings in early life, deeper rooted ongoing relationships or challenging work situations. As such, standard wellbeing advice or behavioural support offered might not be sufficient and psychodynamic work could be a good alternative.
It can be daunting to start therapy and figure out who you might want to see or what kind of therapy might suit you best. Do get in touch for a free initial phone call and to arrange a consultation for us to think together about what brings you to therapy, for you to get a sense of what this kind of therapy is like and if this is most helpful for you at this time.
My first training was as a medical doctor. I have over ten years' experience working in mental and physical health in the NHS, forensic services, the charity sector and higher education. I have trained in intercultural psychotherapy at The Tavistock NHS Trust and, as such, am sensitive to the importance of race, sexuality, gender, culture, beliefs, values, attitudes and religion.
