Helen Hadden

I am qualified and registered as a psychotherapist with the BPC, currently working with adults in the NHS and private practice. I have undergone extensive training at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust for many years. With over 16 years of experience in mental health, I continue to pursue learning and development through further training and the ongoing professional development required by the BPC to stay current and well-informed. My specialisation includes trauma-informed care.

Psychodynamic therapy places a significant emphasis on exploring unconscious processes, such as repressed emotions and unresolved conflicts from childhood. My psychodynamic approach involves creating a safe, confidential, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore and process their thoughts and emotions. This approach facilitates insights into emotional distress, patterns of behaviour, self, perception, identity, and how we relate to others.
