Laura Mae
Child and Family Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Laura Mae
I have spent the last 10 years supporting young people, families and adults with their mental health within different settings: schools, the NHS, local councils, charities and mental health crisis teams. Currently leading a therapeutic team within a school means I am in continuous contact with the issues and challenges young people are facing day to day.
I am an approachable and warm psychotherapist who offers a reflective space for children, adolescents, young adults and parents/carers to explore their feelings and thoughts and the challenges they may be facing. At the centre of my work is building a trusting relationship and working alongside young people and families to hear what matters to you and how we can find ways to help you manage your difficulties.
I offer online sessions via zoom, face-to-face or walking sessions in the areas surrounding Crystal Palace and South Norwood. To get a better idea of how I work, I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to answer any questions you may have.
