Terezia Baranyai
Child, Young Person and Family Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Terezia Baranyai
I am a Child, Young Person and Family Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with experience working in specialist clinical services, schools and private practice.
I support children, young people and families through a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, low self-esteem, attachment difficulties, trauma, behavioural challenges and life transitions. I also have a particular interest and experience in working with neurodivergent children, including those with autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.
My approach is warm, thoughtful and centred around understanding each child or young person's unique emotional world. I believe that behind difficult feelings and behaviours, there is often something important that needs to be understood.
Alongside individual psychotherapy and therapeutic play, I particularly value working with parents and families. Through parent consultations, I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space to explore parenting challenges, better understand children's emotional needs and reflect on family relationships and patterns.
My aim is to help children and families feel heard, understood and more connected, creating space for meaningful and lasting change.
