Andrea Zucchini

Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

About Andrea Zucchini

I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with extensive experience working in a NHS Specialist Psychotherapy Unit and with autistic people.

I trained as a twice-weekly Psychotherapist at the Society of Analytical Psychology, where I am now undertaking further training in Jungian Psychoanalysis.

To bring about change, the experiences across our lives need to be thought about and worked through emotionally. I believe that each person is unique in the way that they experience life with its dilemmas, conflicts, traumas, desires, dreams, hopes and aspirations. This is the approach to the treatment I offer, which is Jungian/Psychodynamic, warm and relational.

This takes place in a safe and confidential space to help you understand the deeper processes at work which cause you difficulties in your life. These developed understandings, help provide purpose and meaning in finding a way forward. Understanding your own ‘internal self’ more deeply makes it possible to tackle these problems, manage symptoms, face obstacles and bring forth change in ways that would not otherwise feel possible. In practice, it involves us working together on a once or twice weekly basis.
