I am both an adult (TSP) and child (ACP) psychoanalytic psychotherapist, initially qualifying in adult psychotherapy from the Minster Centre, an integrative training, in 1992, and in psychoanalytic child psychotherapy at the Tavistock in 1999.

I am at core psychoanalytic and relational, with a special interest in attachment, trauma and how these show up in the body, and my work tends to be more emotion centred.

I have pursued multiple other areas of interest since qualifying, including IEDTA therapies such as ISTDP, and other ways of working with trauma alongside psychoanalytic work.

While I worked in the NHS and public sector for 30 years, I am now in private practice, mainly seeing adults and some parents/families in medium to longterm work.
