Huan Wang

As a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, I offer once- and twice-weekly psychotherapy to adolescents and adults in private practice in North London. My work includes depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and relationship difficulties. I also have a particular interest in questions of identity, belonging, migration, and cross-cultural experience, including the psychological challenges that can arise in immigrant lives. Previously, I worked in NHS secondary care services, where I gained experience supporting individuals with complex and high-risk presentations, including difficulties rooted in early relational trauma. This experience continues to inform my attention to safety, containment, and the therapeutic relationship.My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic and Jungian traditions. I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese, and work in both open-ended and time-limited ways where appropriate.
