Kate Bufton

I am a psychodynamic counsellor working at the Oakdale Centre in Horsforth, Leeds. I offer weekly short-term, long-term or open-ended counselling with individuals over 18.

I have worked with a wide range of clients and issues including low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and trauma.

As a psychodynamic counsellor, our focus would be on the unconscious mind, exploring emotions, thoughts, and early life experiences to understand present behaviour. We would also look at the therapist-client relationship, where together we would uncover hidden patterns and unresolved conflicts.
