I have been a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and psychoanalytic psychotherapist over many years, working both in private practice, the NHS and as a supervisor in training organisations. I am also trained in assessment for psychotherapy which I have taught in several therapeutic settings. I have worked with adults and young people, with a variety of needs.

Therapy is not always easy to embrace but sometimes there is little alternative at the end of the day. I have spent many years in therapy myself and so can understand any anxieties you may have around disclosure.

Once you come to trust your therapist, you will hopefully be able to open up and allow both parties insight into what maybe underlying your current problems.

I can offer an initial telephone discussion, free of charge, to assess your needs and to see if we both feel that I am the right therapist for you. If so, your sessions of 50 minutes once or twice weekly will be charged at £40 to £50 depending on your income.

I can also offer short term work of around 6 to 12 sessions which can be continued if necessary.

My practice is in Queens Park NW6, parking ticket available. Tube Stations are Queens Park Station and Overground Brondesbury Park or Kilburn Stations. There are many buses serving the area.
