Assistant Manager Counselling and Psychotherapy Team
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy team within our Children & Family Service. The successful candidate will be an experienced and qualified practitioner, responsible for providing individual or group therapy and manage a caseload, liaise with families and support the development of our trainee psychotherapists and the services we provide.
Experience
At least 4 years post-qualification therapeutic experience of working with children and young people
Ideally have prior experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
Experience of undertaking detailed assessments of C&YP
Able to demonstrate effective use of clinical measures and outcomes
Ability to manage own case load and effective time management
Providing clinical leadership within the team
Ability to lead a team, projects or other clinical based initiatives as part of delivering innovative and high-quality services to children and young people
Qualifications
Relevant professional qualification in Counselling/Psychotherapy to master’s level
The post holder will be required to hold a full driving licence and have use of a car
