Director of Psychodynamic Training (3 days a week), BPF
Role type: 3 days to be worked flexibly around clinical work although some pre-arranged meetings will need to be attended.

Job purpose:
The postholder will oversee the creation and provision of the new psychodynamic psychotherapy training programme. You will join the existing team of bpf Heads of Trainings to grow and embed the psychodynamic training as part of the bpf’s flagship qualifying training provision. The postholder will work with and be supported by a core teaching staff group. You will also work with and be supported by bpf colleagues, so that our trainees receive holistic pastoral care from their membership body.
The postholder will work from home and Mapesbury Road and will be given administrative support by the bpf. You will need to attend monthly Heads of Trainings meetings and line management meetings. You will also work with our Director of Corporate Services, Head of Marketing and our Events Officer who will support your role. You will have monthly supervision meetings with the CEO and training will be offered where needed.
This is a new post, will develop over time and can be arranged around clinical work.
