Psychological Therapist/Senior Psychotherapist Band 7/8a, NHS
We are looking for a qualified Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist or Group Analyst, who would like to apply their expertise in a Therapeutic Community setting.

The successful candidate would work as part of the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Service’s Therapeutic Community, providing a range of group interventions. They would also hold a small caseload of individual patients.
The programme is working towards specialist accreditation as a Therapeutic Community with the Royal College of Psychiatrists. It is presently a one-day TC, but we have plans to develop into a three-day TC and the post-holder will be fully involved in the development of those plans.
We encourage flexible working and combined working from home and base. The service’s main base is only 5 minutes’ walk from Derby train station, with good rail links to Nottingham (20 minutes); Leicester (25 minutes); Sheffield (30 minutes); Leeds (1 hour 15 minutes) and London (1 hour 30 minutes). Relocation expenses may be available to successful candidates wishing to move to the region.
