Based on findings of the Israeli child analysts working with autistic states, and recent findings from the many analyses of neurodiverse infants, children, adolescents and adults carried out at the Vista Autism Center, Los Angeles, Joshua Durban will describe three distinct sub-groups within the autism spectrum, as well as a new integrated psychoanalytic system of early diagnosis and treatment. This will demonstrate some of these findings with the help of clinical vignettes.
Bio: Joshua Durban (USA/Israel) is a training and supervising child and adult psychoanalyst with the Psychoanalytic Center of California, Los Angeles, and with the Israeli Psychoanalytic Society. He is the founder and clinical director of the Vista Del Mar Autism Center (VAC), Los Angeles, which provides psychoanalytic treatment for infants, children, adolescents and young adults in the Autism Spectrum and their families.
