STRUGGLE FOR HUMANITY IN THE COMING TECHNOCRACY
Book ticketsOrganised by:
Association Of Jungian Analysts
Description
This presentation uses art images, ideas and technology, to explore the background of the sociological and technological innovations of the twenty-first century, with the relentless advance of global technocracy.
Drawing upon psychological insights from Jung, as well as contemporary writers and commentators, and further – offering specially selected corresponding art images – this talk is a personal reflection upon the “brave new world” of technology, science and mental health, and how the “new world order” affects the individual.
Should we be alert to the hidden dangers of totalitarian authority implicit in a technocracy? Can we remember to value what is uniquely human, and consider carefully our attitudes to how future generations will live?
