The Spring series of these lectures brings experts in various aspects of trauma, generally psychoanalytic but using reflective of a wider sphere of understanding in relation to developmental trauma. The series is chaired by Dr Jo Stubley, Tavistock Trauma Service
13th January –Jean Knox, psychiatrist, psychoanalytic psychotherapist and Associate Professor at Exeter will explore themes of shame, agency, and narrative in trauma – The unbearable burden of meaning
5th February – Frances Thomson-Salo, Associate Professor and child psychotherapist will be talking from Australia about the sexual abuse of infants (under 3 years) – What we cannot bear to know
5th March – Graham Music, child & adolescent psychotherapist, adult psychotherapist, author of numerous books linked to understanding trauma. Womb life – his new book on this subject is highly recommended reading
