Senior Psychotherapist. band 7-8a

We are currently looking for a Senior Psychotherapist to join our Adult Psychotherapy Service at Herrick House in Colchester. We are a small psychotherapy team working with adults with complex mental health difficulties, and the post offers an opportunity to work psychodynamically within an NHS secondary mental health setting.

The work includes individual psychotherapy, assessment and formulation, consultation, teaching and supervision, alongside opportunities to contribute to the wider development of the psychotherapy service.

The post is permanent and part-time, currently advertised at 10.5 hours per week, although there is flexibility around the hours and working pattern. It is available at Band 7 or Band 8a, depending on experience.

We would be particularly pleased to hear from psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapists who are interested in working within the NHS and becoming part of our existing psychotherapy team.
